    Every year, all family members come together at my mother’s house for the “Day of Ashura”. What is the “Day of Ashura”? The day of Ashura is also considered as the symbol of sharing, abundance and abundance. to the Islamic calendar
    According to the tradition of cooking and distributing a dessert called “Aşûre” in the “month of Muharram” and especially from the tenth day of this month, it has been a good opportunity to do good deeds and to win hearts. Ashura is a traditional dessert and is a nutritious mixture of various legumes, grains, dried fruits and nuts cooked together. Here is the list of Ashura ingredients:

    1. **Ashura Wheat (Split):** The type of wheat used in making Ashura.
    2. **Boiled Chickpeas:** A legume that adds flavor to Ashura.
    3. **Boiled White Beans:** Another legume ingredient.
    4. **Raisins:** Dried fruit that sweetens the dessert.
    5. **Dried Apricot:** Dried fruit that adds color and flavor to Ashura.
    6. **Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Almonds:** A mixture of dried nuts.
    7. **Dried Fig:** The fruit that gives a natural taste to Ashura.
    8. **Dried Figs:** Used to obtain a delicious and nutritious mixture.
    9. **Sweeteners:** Sweeteners such as cinnamon, sugar, water, milk or molasses.
